Abstract
Biotechnologically and ecologically optimal field crop nutrition with nitrogen, based on measurement of mineral and soluble organic nitrogen in soil. Mineral nitrogen is determined by N-min method, soluble organic nitrogen is determined by method according to Houba and by EUF method according to Nemeth. In subalpine and Pannonian areas of Slovenia the influence of doses of nitrogen, determined on the basis of aforementioned methods, on the quantity and quality of crops and on reduction of risk of ground-water pollution with nitrates will be established.
