Abstract
Ustrezno ravnanje z gozdom zagotavlja trajno večnamensko rabo gozdov. Ključna komponenta trajnosti gozda je biotska raznovrstnost. Pri raziskavi se bomo omejili predvsem na biotopsko, rastlinsko ter sestojno raznovrstnost gozda, in sicer za prostorske nivoje od države, območja (500 km2), enote (30 km2) do posameznega sestoja (nekaj ha). Z izsledki raziskave bomo dopolnili kriterije za analizo trajnosti gozda in izboljšali sistem ukrepov pri ravnanju z gozdovi.
