Abstract
The aim of the project is to contribute to the prevention of cervical cancer within the national programme of active screening. We will revise all cervical smears, and analyze the screening history of women affected by cervical cancer in Slovenia in 1995-1996. Our additional aim is to find the possible causes of overlooking the initial stage of cancer, and the percentage of rapidly growing cancer.
