Abstract
Main goal of the proposed project is the search for the alternative ways of writing and reading of informations. In view of that we will research magnetic properties of molecular nanomagnets with various magnetic resonance techniques. At first the research will be focused on the model system Mn12 where we will study the dynamics of the molecular magnetization. Special attention will be paid to the mechanism of resonant tunneling of the magnetization at low temperatures. In the second step we will apply the knowledge obtained on the Mn12 system to study also other molecular nanomagnets and chose the most approprite system for writting the information. In the last step we will try to write the information with a photoinduced changes of molecular magnetic order and then read it out trough the changes of the ESR spectrum.
