Abstract
The goal of research is quantitative description of processes of migration of chemical elements and their isotopes in the supergene zone of the geological cycle, also of its biogeochemical part, in the geological setting oof Slovenia. This aim should be attained by study of the elemental and isotope distributions in rocks and their weathering products, waters, soils, stream and overbank sediments, plants and anthropogene materials, and by modelling the relevant processes. Modern research methods will be applied and young researchers engaged.
