Abstract
We propose to investigate:
i) Study of the ion distribution inside charged cylindrical capillaries. The results of the modified Poisson-Boltzmann theory will be compared with new computer simulations.
ii) Predict the properties of an ionic annealed fluid in a randomly disordered porous material containing ions. We plan to study the structure and thermodynamics of the annealed symmetric electrolyte for various matrix and electrolyte concentrations and for different conditions of matrix preparation.
