Abstract
A hyphenated technique comprising high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and atomic fluorescence spectrometry (AFS), interfaced via a UV-photoreactor and a hydride generation (HG) unit, will be developed for speciation analysis of arsenic, selenium and antimony. Application of the optimized technique in the study of food and environmental samples will give insight in toxicity, mobility and bioavailability of these elements.
