Abstract
Biotic diversity of the polyploid complex Dactylis glomerata agg. in natural habitats in Slovenia will be evaluated using anatomical, morphological and karyological methods, and by analysis of the nuclear genome size. We will study the correlation between DNA C-value and ploidy level within the complex. In addition, we will investigate the intraspecific variation in nuclear DNA amount and determine whether differences in the C-value are related to different altitude.
