Abstract
From hypersaline waters of a saltern, extremophilic (halophilic and halotolerant) microfungi will be isolated, taxonomically identified, with special regard to novel isolates, physiologically characterised regarding halophilic adaptations and after preserving, incorporated into the microbiological collection MZKI. Data about cultures will be transferred to domestic and foreing scientific public and industry via the culture collection catalogue and electronic networks.
