Abstract
We shall consider theoretical and practical problems with prediction in survival analysis where censored observations are the main characteristic of the data. In theoretical part of our research we shall deal with a definition and estimation of an index of prognostiv power for survival regression models, in in the theoretical - practical part we shall be interested in possible advantages or disadvantages of models of relative survival and of using certain methods the were not specifically developed for censored data.
