Abstract
The knowledge, study and classification of karst properties (superficial and underground karst features, conditions, factors and processes of their genesis, lithology control) may be solved by reasonably designed and uninterrupted geological, geomorphological, speleological and hydrological karstological researches, aimed at creation of integral karst conception. For years the internationally acknowledged team of the Karst Research Institute ZRC SAZU researchers builds the foundations of integral karstology taking into account the sustainable symbiosis with sensitive karst landscape.
