Abstract
The goal of the research project is to collect and analyze Slovenian proverbs and to publish them, thus making them available to the public. Taken into consideration will be the oldest manuscript collections material as well as all hitherto published material and current field work research results. The material will be analyzed according to motifs, structural analysis, frequency, usage, and origin, and compared to similar collections elsewhere.
