Abstract
In the research the history of the relationship between anthropology and psychoanalysis will be analysed. Special attention will be put on the antropological use of psychoanalysis and on the negative stereotypes regarding psychoanalysis in anthropology. The arguments for deconstruction of these stereotypes will be offered.
