Abstract
Several topics of social science methodology and statistics are treated: - the analysis of nonresponse: sociodemographic characteristics of nonrespondents in surveys, the cost issues of nonresponse, nonresponse in the case of Internet users; - social network analysis: the influence of several factors on the quality of network measurements, the analysis and representation of large networks, blockmodeling; - decision theory and social choice models.
