Abstract
Input -Output analysis together with the Laplace transforms have been applied to multi level multi period production - inventory systems. The laplace transforms was introduced in this area in the latest eighties by Grubbstroem et al. The main literature on this field concerns assembly systems but I-O Analysis is also easily applied to process industries with a divergent material flow or when feedbac is essential. The market position of firms of this typ concerning stochastic demand, can be studied in detail. Evaluation of their risk in oligopoly positions can be studied accurately.
