ACER Novo mesto, a limited liability company specialized in spatial planning, design and evironmental studies

The enterprise ACER Novo mesto d.o.o. was established in 1992 and has today 11 employees. The basic activity, which is also evident from the complete firm of the enterprise, is spatial planning, projecting and environmental protection. From the very establishment of the enterprise one part of the employees has also been occupied with research-development, first of all with applicable studies from the field of spatial planning, judging the influences on the environment a.s., appearing either as carriers of individual studies or as collaborators in the studies, the carriers of which are other institutions, such as Biotechnical Faculty, Faculty of Arts and Faculty of Construction and Geodesy of the University of Ljubljana, Urban Planning Institute of the Republic of Slovenia, Jožef Stefan Institute). The studies that have been led by the employees of our enterprise or in which our employees have collaborated respectively, have first of all dealt with the problems of spatial arrangement on the state and recently also on the regional level. The interdisciplinary working group consists of a landscape architecture, architecture, geographer and civil engineer; two of them are Masters of Science and three of them have been preparing their Master degrees. In its present work the group has performed independently and partly together with external collaborators and consultants, and chiefly by putting forward her knowledge acquainted through its other work in everyday practice, several studies that have contributed to the concept of the new spatial plan of the Republic of Slovenia in the whole, and also to the concept of the developing spatial legislation.
