Description
LPKF d.o.o., founded in 1994 as a joint venture, has successfully established itself on the international market as a highly innovative high-tech company. This achievement is attributable to its early identification of important trends and demands in the extremely fast moving microelectronics sector. We are committed to continually optimizing and expanding our already sophisticated solutions. For instance, we deliver three alternative through-hole-plating systems, providing all of the laboratory technology required for rapid prototyping - complemented by in-depth application technology consultation and support by our professional experts. Main milestones LPKF d.o.o.: - End of 1994 Foundation; production of circuit board plotters ProtoMat has been moved to Slovenia. - End of 1995 Production and development of equipment for assembly of SMD (Surface Mount Devices) were moved from company ZELTRA to LPKF. - End of 1996 LPKF d.o.o. and ZELTRA started the development of YAG laser for cutting metal SMT stencils (Surface Mount Technology) used for adding soldering paste. - 1997 Productronica '97 fair in Munich; a new pneumatic stretching frame has been presented and patented two years later in Germany, USA and Japan. - 1998 Together with the company PMV d.o.o. high speed clamp for fast tool exchange and special gearing for speed increasing of the DC motor was developed. - 1999 A new generation of ProtoMat was presented. With the increasing of production and seductive price, LPKF became market leader for this type of products. SMT'99 fair in Nuernberg; a new product for rapid prototyping of PCB's ProtoLaser was presented. Intergration of ProtoMat with YAG laser enables structuring of the circuit with very narrow 40nm leads and isolations. - 2000 Two further developments were closed, testing device for SMT stencils ScanCheck (together with company RLS d.o.o.) and YAG laser with tripled frequency for cutting polymer stencils.
