Automated peptide synthesizer
The instrument enables the synthesis of short and longer peptides, including small proteins, with a precisely defined amino acid sequence. It employs the solid-phase peptide synthesis method (SPPS), which is automated. The instrument sequentially adds appropriately protected amino acids to the growing peptide chain, following a predetermined sequence. It supports synthesis at a scale of 100 mg to 1 gram.
