System for optical cross-sectional imaging of biological and non-biological samples
The optical cross-section imaging system consists of a laser system to illuminate the sample to be imaged, an optical system to guide and refract the laser beam, a triggered image intensifier and a digital camera. The system is able to image relatively thick samples, both biological and non-biological.
