Raman spectrometer with an optical mikroscope
This fully automated Raman spectrometer with optical microscope is used to identify molecules and study chemical bonding and intramolecular bonds with high spatial < 1 um and spectral resolution ~ 1 cm^(-1). The detectable wavenumber range is 50–4000 cm^(−1) and is a complementary detection method to IR spectroscopy. This scientific tool enables 2D mapping. The studied samples do not require any addition preparation steps. Additionally, this device is used to characterize materials, especially to study boundary nanofilms, measure temperature, and find the crystallographic orientation of a sample. It can be used to analyze nanowires, graphene, diamond-like coatings (DLCs), quantuum dots, fullerens and polymers.
