High resolution X-ray powder diffractometer

The basic application is qualitative and quantitative phase analysis of polycrystalline samples (solid or powdered). Precise measurement of the unit cell parameters, indexing, Rietveld refinement and crystal structure determination are also possible in certain cases.

Interested customer contacts the caretaker of the instrument, who then organizes the data collection and, if needed, interpretation of the patterns. For the customers from UL FKKT, the service is free of charge, other customers pay the expenses of the data collection and interpretation. The price is strongly dependent on the data collection parameters and the difficulty of the interpretation, the information on the price is obtained fom the caretaker before the agreement for data collection, informational price is 100 EUR per hour of data collection.
